Terrible design
We bought one of these. We used it twice and were unable to conceive of it ever producing an edible sandwich. basically it will burn one part of your sandwich and the rest will be simply hot. Don't waste your money.
It was a gift
I have a rival 2-slice sandwich maker and loved it so much I had to get one for my son. It browns the sandwich to a perfect golden brown and is soooooo fast. My son probably uses it more than I do and I use mine a lot. Again I give it 5 stars. I love it.
Great little gadget
Didn't like it at first but then i discovered it makes awesome chicken quesadillas makes em perfectly now I love it
