Everything in perfect order, arrived early. Not much to say other than it's everything I thought it would be and more. This is my first KitchenAid. I've wanted one for 20 years.

After reading reviews I decided on this model instead of the Artisian series because of the metal vs. plastic gearing. Yikes!! I love Amazon reviews and I am a frequent buyer of Amazon however I did find this mixer a bit cheaper at Overstock dot com. It goes for the same price as the Artisian. Only drawback they only sell the caviar color, btw, is gorgeous. The caviar isn't just black, it shimmers, like fine clear glitter is in the paint. Anypoo, my backsplash is black so it blends in beatifully without making my kitchen look cluttered. One review I read said this is an extremely loud machine. I thought, before getting it, I would have to wait until the household wakes up before I could start kneading bread. NOT SO! It has a 575 watt motor but the noise level wasn't even close to what I was expecting. Great product!! I whipped out my 1st batch of potato gnoche yesterday in no time! I absolutely love my Kitchen Aid Stand Alone Mixer!! And knowing I have one with the metal/steal...
