Do not buy-should be called noise maker
After serious research, I purchased this wine refrigerator.
It is soooo loud everyone comments.
The wooden shelves are poorly made and have no sides to brace the bottles.
You risk the bottles rolling out and breaking every time you extend the shelves....
I cannot imagine a worse choice.
Few issues
I just got this today to replace a GE that cost over twice the price so I will temper my review. The unit sits next to a subzero and the cosmetics match nicely though there are imperfections in the brushed stainless that are apparent if you look closely. My unit came with a very annoying ding in the stainless panel of the door that didn't happen during shipping. I will contact the seller and try to get a new panel or door. The height of the unit is a half inch higher than specified with the legs in the shortest position. I had to remove the legs and get felt pads for the bottom to make it fit under my counter. It cooled right down but is much noisier than my previous one. Shelves are flimsier but perhaps adequate except that there are no side rails! When you pull out the shelf, the bottles on the end can just fall on the floor. Shouldn't be hard to make a fix but the shelf must have been designed by someone that never used a wine frig.
