Not all it’s cracked up to be.
Product is only somewhat nonstick. The waffles start to cook before you can add all the batter and sticks to the plates. They safe nonstick spray is not necessary but I used a light coat of olive oil to help with removing the waffles; it didn’t help much. I been trying to use products that are better for the environment and your body but this one was more trouble than it was worth.
so so
love the idea of the ceramic non-stick surface.
but a very poor execution.
The irons are so thin that the coils leave a scorch mark on the waffles instead of being able to heat evenly.
It also seems to run a little hot. if the waffle batter overflows it cooks onto the plastic and is hard to clean.
There are small crevices where the waffle irons and the plastic come together, where the batter gets stuck in so it is hard to clean.
The irons clean very well but the other little crevices make it a pain to clean altogether.
I couldn't recommend this to anyone.
I'll take this camping etc. where I won't care if it gets broken so.
If it becomes to much of a pain to clean while camping, I'll just use it for target practice....;-)
